Maroon Financial

In 1957, a group of faculty and administration team at the University of Chicago saw the need to build a financial institution focused on delivering a source of credit at reasonable rates and promoting thrift within the University Community. That original idea is the foundation for the firm that would become Maroon Financial Credit Union. Our field of membership has expanded through the years to allow the whole University of Chicago community participation in our aim. You may join if you are a student, alumni, faculty or team member of the University of Chicago or the University of Chicago Medical Center, including its subsidiearies and affiliated organizations; or if you are a family member of a current member.
