She holds advanced certifications in Myofascial Therapy and Precision Neuromuscular Therapy (PNMT) both of which feature a strong focus on structural analysis, an important assessment tool in ITM massage sessions. As a long distance runner, Mary has a special affinity and passion for working with athletes and sports enthusiasts - endurance athletes in particular - possessing a 1st-hand understanding of common injuries and pain problems inherent with these sports activities. In addition to massage therapy, Mary's background is grounded in energy work. She has been practicing as a Reiki Master and Teacher since 2001 and often complements massage sessions with Reiki, a form of energy healing.
